Tredyffrin Historic Preservation Trust is a 501c3 nonprofit organization established in 2001 in response to the threat to demolish the historic eighteenth century Jones Log Barn. The Trust’s mission is to preserve and protect historic and cultural resources in Tredyffrin Township for the benefit of present and future generations and to educate the public about the preservation and protection of historic and cultural settings.

A major attraction for Tredyffrin Township and the local community is the rebuilt historic Jones Log Barn.  With the rebuilding process completed, the Jones Log Barn Living History Center officially opened in April 2022.  Visitors will experience the Living History Center’s historic exhibits, displays and artifacts, including antique and vintage farm equipment. Special children’s activities, community functions and much, much more is planned.

The Living History Center is open seasonally on Sunday afternoons, 1-3 PM from April through October and staffed with knowledgeable docents who guide visitors through the museum. In addition to Sunday afternoons, the History Center may be opened by prior arrangement at other times. Click here to plan your visit today!
